At the heart of this turn-key commission was the client’s wish for a superb 18-meter lap pool and his love of blue—and he got both. Tasked with the full architectural and interior design as well as project development, I shaped a villa filled with details that make it truly special: a white-tiled pool that shimmers a vibrant blue, a raised bale overlooking the rice fields, and a frangipani tree gently dropping its flowers into the water. Beside a natural pond, a Balinese Padma temple carved from volcanic stone adds a sacred, grounding presence.
Circular showers, open-air bathrooms, and a queen-sized window seat that doubles as a spare bed weave charm with practicality, while custom light features by Delighting highlight the architecture and enrich the atmosphere. The palette of crisp whites and blue accents captures the essence of the tropics—Blue Bali Bliss.
