How to turn a dark reggae bar into a relaxed swinging beach club with a light, summery vibe?
Studio Pure by Martje was engaged for the interior design to give the famous Legend bar on Gili Air island off the coast of Lombok a fresh new look.
The existing structure was improved and partly demolished, the black, red and yellow were replaced by light aqua blue tones, combined with sandy nude hues and whites, giving it all the much needed elegance with a breezy, fresh and uncomplicated vibe.

The outdoor cocktail bar has swings in lieu of bar stools, and rattan hanging chairs provide relaxed swinging in the future restaurant Tranqi. Here the gorgeous handmade floor tiles were developed especially for this project, and a huge built-in terrazzo sofa was created. A combination of shell lights and an abundance of rattan lights provide the perfect atmosphere at night.
The beach area has Bali-style umbrellas and white rattan balloon lights, while the many triangle sails provide shade from the tropical sun.

A perfect spot to enjoy the delicious cocktails and the spectacular sunsets.
